Our fabulous selection of hand-knots provides you with many materials to chose from, the most popular being wool, silk, bamboo silk and quite often a combination of those.  The quality of the rug is determined by the number of knots per square inch – so the higher the knot count, the finer the weave, thus the quality. Hand-kotted rugs allow for very intricate patterns and can be handmade in many styles, from classic oriental to transitional, to contemporary modern.
